CEO Start applications open
Applications are now open for the next CEO Start.
This group-learning opportunity from Elevate Hennepin was designed to guide entrepreneurs with a business idea through the process of validating that idea and developing a plan to launch their new venture.
Over 11 weeks, a group of 10 to 15 entrepreneurs will work through a nationally recognized curriculum from CO.STARTERS focused on testing ideas and identifying key assumptions through interviews, peer-to-peer conversation, research, and facilitated discussions on key foundational elements. Professional pitch coaches will also guide participants as they prepare for a final presentation.
Participants who complete the program will walk away with a solid foundation of business skills, access to resources, a community of support, an understanding of their next steps, and the confidence to move forward with their idea.
Dozens of entrepreneurs across Hennepin County have already completed the program. One of the first graduates was Hannah Olson, the founder of Happy Jolly Llamas. She said gaining confidence in her business idea from people outside of her immediate family and friends was one of the most valuable takeaways from her CEO Start experience.
“That peer support and confidence was really what I needed to keep going,” she said.
If you have a great business idea but could use some guidance validating that and moving forward, now is the time to apply. Applications for the next CEO Start is open and the training begins soon, learn more and apply today via the link below.
