Elevate Hennepin wins coveted NACo award

We at Elevate Hennepin are proud to announce an award from the National Association of Counties (NACo).

NACo recognized Elevate Hennepin’s approach to economic development as a noteworthy among counties across the country at the organization’s 2024 conference and awards ceremony.

NACo looked to the broad range of impacts from Elevate Hennepin.

Since late 2020, more than 2,718 entrepreneurs from across the county’s urban and rural business centers have utilized more than 31,000 hours of one-on-one consulting and coaching.

Local businesses have accessed $25.2 million in financing and 165 new businesses have launched with the support of Elevate Hennepin advisors.

Entrepreneurs of all sizes also made their first hire or grew staff. In 139 businesses reported creating or retaining 528 jobs thanks to this support.

Hundreds more have accessed group training under the Elevate Hennepin umbrella of services to validate ideas, build systems, achieve certifications, or tackle the many challenges of a growing business from day one to year 20.

Thanks to NACo for recognizing all these great achievements, we look forward to growing and evolving with the Hennepin County business community.

But she found HR Next and a chance to dramatically improve her HR systems.
