Commissioner Kevin Anderson reflects on 2025 and Elevate Hennepin
Commissioner Kevin Anderson, representing Hennepin County’s District 7, sat down with CCX Media to talk through a productive 2024 including some updates about Elevate Hennepin.
“We are focusing on small business support, and it's really been a huge benefit to our business community,” said Anderson. “We're helping startup businesses all the way through larger businesses through cohort models and business support.”
He noted that Elevate Hennepin is only a few years old, but the initiative has been a real impact.
“We've had we've had a lot of really good success stories; we have several new businesses that have started up with support from Elevate Hennepin,” said Anderson. “We're really supporting our business community, which is kind of a new venture for Hennepin, and there’s a lot to be proud of.”
