Empowering nonprofits

The North Dakota chapters of SCORE will present a workshop: "Empowering Nonprofits: From Attracting Donors to Navigating 501c3 to Leadership Mastery" This free workshop will be held on May 7, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  The workshop will be broadcast via ZOOM.

Topics and Speakers will include:

  •  Tiffany Allen – How to Attract the Right Donors and Funders to your Nonprofit.

    Tiffany Allen is the CEO of Boss on a Budget, based in the Washington, DC area. She is the creator of the Activate Your Purpose Profit Society, an online membership community for nonprofit founders to help them get funding. She manages an online network of over 15,000 people from across the world who are seeking grant writing assistance and support and teaches on nonprofit startup to a combined audience of over 35,000 followers on Youtube and Instagram. She regularly produces videos and written content on nonprofit startups and fundraising.
  • Blue Weber - Navigating the 501c3 Application Process.

Blue Weber is an experienced professional who has a successful history of community building initiatives, advocating for businesses, and working alongside stakeholders. Currently, Blue is a Community Outreach Liaison with Bolton & Menk, a Transportation and Engineering Firm. Previously, Blue was the Executive Director of the Downtown Development Association, an economic development and community betterment non-profit organization. Along with Blues organizational leadership, he has started and created several non-profits serving in community development through art, events, and fundraising. He loves to share his experience in creating strong and sustainable non-profits to help other bring their dreams from paper to the people they are intended to benefit.

  • Libby Vaillavicencio - Are You a New Nonprofit Leader? What You Need to Know

    Libby is a SCORE volunteer in Columbus, Ohio and CEO of Libby V & Associates. Libby holds a post-graduate certificate from the Institute of Nonprofit Management at Columbia University Business School of Executive Education, an MS in Human Services Management from Franklin University, and a BS in Education from Ohio University.

    With many years of leadership experience, Libby fully understands communities, government, higher education, non-profit and philanthropic sectors. She is also experienced in public-private partnerships through consulting roles with initiatives in Atlanta, Baton Rouge, New Jersey, Raleigh-Durham, Massachusetts, Chicago, California, Seattle, and Ohio.
