Small Business Technical Assistance Program (B-TAP)

About

B-TAP supports the development of entrepreneurs and businesses located in the City of Minneapolis, particularly those owned by minorities, women, and low-income individuals. The program funds one-on-one consulting assistance through partnering with multiple organizations. Our providers are local non-profit organizations focused on business organizations focused on business coaching and entrepreneur training. Assistance may support business plan development, guidance on payroll withholding, ensuring business licenses are in order, applying for loans and lines of credit, creating a business marketing strategy, and other business development consulting.

Whether you are considering starting a business or looking to expand an existing one, B-TAP can help you reach your goals.

In addition to business technical assistance, Minneapolis offers assistance to develop co-operatives through C-TAP and developers through D-TAP on their web site.
